Geared to swimmers new to artistic swimming and returning recreational and regional league swimmers born between 2012 and 2018. Space is limited to 12 athletes each week and will be available on a first-come-first serve basis. 

Join us for a week of fun in the pool where swimmers will learn, develop, and strengthen their artistic swimming skills. This camp will include structured practice in the pool in the morning as well as participation in free swim time with their coaches (to be confirmed) and new friends each afternoon. 

Swimmers will create a team routine and show it off during the end of the week skill demonstration and mini-watershow. Swimmers will also participate in other activities out of the water such as flexibility and strength work, landrilling (practicing the routine out of water), crafts, outdoor games, team building activities, make new friends and much more!

Requirements: 

- Athletes must be comfortable swimming 25m without assistance 

- Athletes must be comfortable swimming in deep water without assistance

Camp details:

Dates: 

Week 1: July 28th to August 1st

Week 2: August 5th to August 8th

Time: 8:30AM to 4:30PM 

Before and after care: Before and after care is also available between 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM and 4:30PM - 5:30PM 

Location: Sawmill Creek Pool

Cost:  

Week 1:

Camp only: 400$

Camp AND before/after care: 450$

Week 2

Camp only: 320$

Camp AND before/after care: 360$

Mandatory registration with Ontario Artistic Swimming/Canada Artistic Swimming: 

Link for registration and payment will be sent to any athlete who has not swam during the 2024-2025 season via email following registration. Fee to register as a Short Term Recreational Athlete to participate in the camp will be 11$ plus processing fees.

Equipment needed:

- Bathing suit

- Nose clips

- Goggles

- Swim cap

- Towels

- Deck shoes (flip flops)

- Running shoes

- Comfortable clothing for land activities

Athletes will also be going outside daily during the afternoon and will need:

- sunscreen

- appropriate sun attire (shorts, t-shirt, hat, sunglasses etc.)

Swimmers should also bring: a lunch, a water bottle, and snacks. NO PEANUT PRODUCTS PLEASE!

Fees

Fees for short-term programs are due at time of registration and are non-refundable. Please refer to the GO Capital Artistic Swimming Payment Policy for information related to refunds and withdrawals.
